1. Table Tennis Information
- 4 Indoor tables located in the Function Room.
- FREE for tennis members as of 1/2/2025 (subject to change). Guest fee applies* – see below.
- Visitors: $20 per table, per hour
- Standard SSC Fair Play Policies apply.
- Members and guests must check in at the club reception only prior to play.
- All bats and ball(s) are available at the club reception only.
2. General Policies
- Prices may change without notice.
- The Function Room is a shared space; if hired out, table tennis will not be available for online booking.
- The Club may re-assign table allocations at its discretion.
- All bookings must be completed online via the UBS Member Portal.
- Ensure your contact details are correct and up to date.
- All table tennis bookings are the responsibility of the person who made the booking.
3. During Play
- Only 1 ball allowed per table.
- Appropriate active attire must be worn.
- Play only within your allocated booking time.
- All players must be listed on the booking.
- Maximum 4 players per table.
4. Bat & Ball Hire / Care
- Government ID is required at club reception when hiring bats and balls.
- Maximum equipment per table: 4 bats + 1 ball.
- All equipment must be returned in the same condition it was issued.
- Malicious damage fees: $5 per bat and $5 per ball.
- No standing or stepping on table tennis balls.
- No peeling or damaging the bat surfaces.
5. Active Booking Rules
- Maximum 2 active (future) bookings allowed per member at any time.
- Bookings must be under the playing member’s name only.
- Members must not reserve courts under someone else’s membership.
6. Member’s Guest Booking Policy
- Members with guests are allowed at $10 per visitor, capped at $20 for any multiple guests.
7. Arrival Requirements
- All members must check in at reception before playing.
- Booking must be confirmed by the member whose name the booking is under.
- Members must present their membership card.
- All visitor fees must be paid before play begins.
8. Cancellation, Late Arrival, Early Departure & No Show Policy
Cancellations
- Require at least 24 hours’ notice.
- Participant list (max 4 people) can be updated up to 24 hours before the booking.
- Bookings made within 24 hours cannot be cancelled online. Email immediately to avoid fees: proshop@strathfieldsportsclub.com.au
- A cancellation email confirmation will be sent to the member whose name is on the booking.
- Policy subject to change and will be communicated to all tennis members.
Late Arrival
- Arriving more than 15 minutes late = NO SHOW. Booking may be removed.
- NO SHOW fees apply.
Fees
- Cancellations within 24 hours: fee equal to the full booking duration.
- NO SHOW bookings: fee equal to the full booking duration.
- Finishing more than 30 minutes early = $25 early-departure cancellation fee. Example: 2-hour booking but you leave after 1 hour.
