Here is a selection of how Strathfield Sports Club’s sponsorship was used:

Special Children Services Centre Inc.

Special Children Services Centre Inc (SCSC) aims to assist families of people with autism, developmental delay and intellectual disabilities, especially those from CALD backgrounds by providing professional training, therapy program and practical services.

SCSC helps children and people with special needs to be the best they can be, and fully realise their individual potential through quality support to meet their daily needs, as well as to enable them to have equal access to the appropriate services.

Chinese Parents Association – Children With Disabilities Inc.

The Chinese Parents Association – Children with Disabilities Incorporated (CPA) is a non-profit, non-religious, incorporated charities organization established in 1988.

CPA believes that people with disabilities, irrespective of colour, race or creed, should be treated equally and rightfully enjoy a rich and meaningful life as far as possible.

They have used Strathfield Sports Club’s sponsorship to run regular Saturday programs for children with disabilities which include ice-skating, bowling, music and dance for the youth group, as well as early intervention and music therapy programs for the junior group.

Family Drug Support

Family Drug Support (FDS) is a caring, non-religious and non judgmental organisation that was formed in 1997 after its founder, Tony Trimingham, lost his son to a drug overdose.

FDS is primarily made up of volunteers who have experienced first hand the trauma and chaos of having family members with drug dependency. Most have travelled the same road.

Mr Perfect – Mental Health’s Mate

Mr Perfect is a grassroots support community and charity with a vision to transform men’s mental health by making it a comfortable discussion for all.

They facilitate conversation and connection through authentic personal stories, education and interaction in a safe, non-judgmental way, particularly through our Meetup BBQs across Sydney (and soon beyond).

Strathfield Sports Club directly sponsors their associated football club.
