We’re proud to report SSC junior tennis member Jaewoo Choi has been representing the Club with distinction in recent weeks with some strong results in State competitions.

Jaewoo won an U-16 tournament in Richmond three weeks ago and followed that up with a finals appearance playing up two age divisions in an U-18 tournament in Penrith seven days later.

Dating back to June the talented 15-year-old was ranked 650th in Australia, with his latest achievements set to see him break through the 600 mark.

Under the guidance of Inner West Tennis Academy coach Inhwas Song, Jaewoo is set to play in multiple junior and AMT events for the remainder of 2016.

Further down the track he has his eye on competing in some world junior tournaments in a bid to get a world ranking. Jaewoo aspires to one day become a professional tennis player and says he plans to train extremely hard over the next three years in order to achieve this goal.
